The original shot was great but lacked a little luster!

Plain ‘Ole Edit: Bumped Exposure (MCP Quickie Collection) looking atit now I probably could have gone a bit more, Touch Of Light on the Subject (MCP FREE Action), Eye Doctor and Dentist (also MCP, can you tell we love MCP here at PI)

Vintage Violet: Working off the Plain ‘Ole Edit, I added an action called Vintage White from Mullet God (grab these actions…their FREE!). This added a bit of violet hue so I went with it and added a Purple Texture (this was just a DigiScrapping paper I had purchased years ago and used as an overlay)….Need a bit more so I added on of Andie Smith’s 4×6 Mask’s “Dirty”

I like ‘em but I was still not drooling over them…what to do! I know, I know….

I love a good crop!!

As a mother to a gorgeous lil boy myself.. I really was excited to show off some fun BOY props!   To be honest, my FAVORITE boy prop is hats… baseball caps, vintage pageboy caps (fav!), top hats… you name it.

I used the above page boy cap over and over and over again… and now use it for my client children photos!  It’s the sweetest thing, and I easily picked it up from the GAP!

Bokeh : (derived from Japanese, a noun boke 暈け, meaning “blurred or fuzzy”) is a photographic term referring to the appearance of point of light sources in an out-of-focus area of an image produced by a camera lens using a shallow depth of field.[1] Different lens bokeh produces different aesthetic qualities in out-of-focus backgrounds, which are often used to reduce distractions and emphasize the primary subject.
